According to the State Statistics Committee, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 57.2 trillion soums worth of food products in the first five months of 2026, a 7.9% increase compared to the previous year. Increased production volumes also entail higher requirements for ingredients: even a slight deviation in moisture or viscosity on the production line can alter the texture of the entire batch.

Kazakhstan’s food industry continues to grow: according to government data, food production reached 4 trillion tenge in 2025 — an increase of 8.4% — with growth hitting 14.7% in the first half of 2026. The larger the batch of baked goods or desserts, the costlier any deviation from the recipe becomes.
